“Gotham is Mine”… and so is this new Batman: Arkham Knight trailer

Rocksteady Studios just released the latest trailer for the upcoming game Batman: Arkham Knight, and are we in for a treat!

Batman: Arkham Knight will be the latest (and concluding) entry in Rocksteady’s critically acclaimed Arkham series of Batman games, and this promises to be the best yet as make the journey through next-gen. As can be seen in the gif below, the character models have certainly improved and are now looking more realistic compared to the ones in the previous games. Batman: Arkham Knight is set a year after the events of Batman: Arkham City, where Scarecrow returns and manages to unite Bat’s Rogue Gallery (which includes Poison Ivy, Riddler, Harley Quinn and Two-Face as seen above) in a plan to bring down The Dark Knight for good. Also entering the fray is the Arkham Knight, a new character created specifically for the game by DC Comics boss Geoff Johns. When the game was first announced, Rocksteady Studios mentioned that the content would be far greater than the previous Arkham games, and the trailer does seem to provide a glimpse of what gamers would expect when it is released. With the game proper being set up in Gotham itself, it already makes the playable area at least five times bigger than Arkham itself. Batman: Arkham Knight is scheduled for release in June 2, 2015 for the PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One platforms. The game will also come with two different Collector’s Edition bundles, one including a Batman statue and another simply called the Batmobile Edition. Both bundles will include a steel case for the game, an 80-page concept art book, a copy of the Arkham Knight issue #0 comic book and DLC codes for Batman’s New 52 gear. Pre-ordering the game will also get players access to the Harley Quinn special missions as well.
