The Events for May 2017 Are Here!
April was definitely eventful for many geeks, and May’s looking to be no slouch either! Here are some of the events happening this month. There’s a whole lot of everything – movie stuff, comic book stuff, anime stuff, local and international music – going down practically every week this time around.
May 4-6: Star Wars Day Celebration
“Catch the epic battle between good and evil as Jedi knights take on Sith lords in SM Megamall for the official May the Fourth / Star Wars Day celebrations in the Philippines.
Join the lightsaber training classes for kids on Saturday and Sunday. Registration will be done on site on a first come first served basis.

May 20-21: POF 2017: Danketsu
“This will be our fourth time of organizing the festival and this year our theme would be “DANKETSU.” The title is the Japanese term for “unity.” By organizing this event we wish to bring together and unite the Otaku culture in the Philippines which includes cosplay, manga, music, games and more. We would invite various organizations to collaborate with us and show a message of unity towards achieving positive endeavors in the culture.”
