Geoff Johns and John Romita Jr. have teased that Superman will be getting a revised costume ever since they began their run on “Superman” and now we finally get a look at the retooled costume.
Some noticeable changes for the Man of Steel includes a yellow rectangle on his belt replacing the old red pentagon. There’s also the tweaked boots which is an obvious throwback to the big blue boy scout’s old school boots. One great thing about this is the fact that it’s being designed to look a lot like the new costume Henry Cavill would be wearing for Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice.
One of the really weird additions to Superman’s new costume are the finger-less gloves thats connected to the Supes’ onesie. In true New 52 and Jim Lee fashion, the linings are more pronounced.
