Free Comic Book Day 2016 at Fully Booked Bonifacio High Street Free Comic Book Day 2016, or more colloquially known as FCBD 2016, coincided with a wild weekend of Mother’s Day tributes and Philippine Election craziness. Held in several locations across Metro Manila and members of the What’s A Geek crew celebrated in their own fashion. Some of them dropped by one of the biggest gatherings at Fully Booked Bonifaco High Street where the legendary lines started early and were still quite lengthy midway through the day. Cosplayers of all kinds gathered to the delight of many of the visitors, and an enterprising businessman decided to set up a photo booth for everyone’s enjoyment. The Artist Alley continued to be a mainstay feature of FCBD, with many old hands and young blood to go around. A trivia contest pit the geekiest of teams against each other for some awesome prizes. Thank you, Comic Odyssey and Fully Booked, for making Free Comic Book Day 2016 a must-go event this year. May you guys continue making it one year after year.
