The FOX Panel: Deadpool, Fantastic Four, X-Men: Apocalypse, Gambit and Wolverine

Aside from the most powerful and epic selfies this side of SDCC, the Fox Panel revealed a whole lot more!

FOX announced that their upcoming movies will be DEADPOOL, FANTASTIC FOUR, X-MEN: APOCALYPSE, GAMBIT and WOLVERINE.

We even got to see a trailer for the new Deadpool movie, which Ryan Reynold so beautifully opened with: “F**k it, let’s show it again!” Quick recap for everything, Deadpool is a mercenary who has cancer and volunteers for a secret military experiment that gives him rapid healing but turns him crazy. The trailer is everything we expect Deadpool to be with awesome quips and funny as f quotes!

Catch it here! Warning: The Merc with a Mouth is gonna be talking here and that means a lot of vulgar words!

Now, Fox talks about the new Fantastic Four movie which the studio claims to be “darker, more emotional and more character-driven” than other superhero movies. We might get to see more of the Negative Zone and Dr. Doom when the trailer is out sometime this week!
Watch this space for updates!

Fox Studio describes X-MEN: APOCALYPSE as being set 10 years after Days of Future Past. The movie is going to show more of Cyclops, Jean Grey and Storm and how they become the main members of the X-Men. In this timeline, mutants have been accepted by the world following the heroic act Mystique, saving President Nixon from Magneto. There are even hundreds of people in cults worshipping the mutants. Magneto is in hiding in the countryside and while he’s chilling, Apocalypse comes and recruits him. Singer says that this would be the end of the Trilogy about the formation of the X-Men and might be his last as a director.

Once the X-MEN: APOCALYPSE trailer hits, expect the WAG team with more details on this alternate timeline of the X-Men!
BONUS: Our first look at En Sabah Nur aka Apocalypse!

“I’ve got three words for you guys – Old Man Logan. Read into that what you will.” Hugh Jackman says as he walks up on the stage.  Hugh Jackman says the WOLVERINE his last movie as Wolverine and that the script is based on the eight-issue Old Man Logan storyline. I am totally interested on how Director James Mangold is going to deal with this as this storyline interacts with a lot of MCU-owned characters.

The new movie will also explore the relationship between Wolverine and Professor X, which means that we will get to see Patrick Stewart in this movie.

We didn’t get to hear a lot about the new GAMBIT movie, but we DID get to see the new logo!

So, that’s it for this round-up of the FOX Panel! Did we miss anything? Hit us up in the comments! Check out our page for more FOX News, true believers.
