Welcome to #NerdMusicMonday, where we feature some of the greatest geek-inspired music to start your week on the right note.
This week we’re featuring the chiptune-inspired EDM of Gustavo Rangel, also known as Nitro Fun. I honestly had no idea he existed until Pam linked me to his site. And you know what? His music is pretty fantastic.
Listen to an instant favorite of mine, Final Boss:
About Nitro Fun
Gustavo Rangel’s interest in electronic music started when he was 14 years old. EDM was so fascinating; It was new and different for him. He soon tried his hand at producing instantly becoming addicted to it. Being an avid videogame fan he had the idea of using chiptune elements into his tracks. He kept practicing and developing his own sound and 1 year later, at the young age of 15, he won a remix competition on Monstercat with his own solo release soon after, becoming the youngest artist signed to the label. Since then, he has continued growing with support from artists such as Don Diablo, Blasterjaxx, Dyro, Tommy Sunshine, W&W and more!
Check out his music on his website and SoundCloud.
