‘Doctor Who: Heaven Sent’ Images Revealed

WARNING: Contains MASSIVE spoilers for Doctor Who Series 9. Read at your own risk!

Ever since Peter Capaldi burst on the scene and played the Twelfth Doctor as abrasive and ever always on the brink of losing his temper, I’ve always wondered what it would be like to see him totally unhinged, moral compass gone, totally forgetting why he was called the Doctor in the first place.

With Clara dying in last week’s Face The Raven, the Doctor is alone, pursued by a mysterious creature called the Veil, both hearts broken, with nothing to lose. Seriously, everything I’m hearing about this upcoming episode is nothing short of fantastic.

Here’s the official synopsis of Steven Moffat’s Heaven Sent:

“Trapped in a world unlike any other he has seen, the Doctor faces the greatest challenge of his many lives. One final test. And he must face it alone. Pursued by the fearsome creature known only as the Veil, he must attempt the impossible. If he makes it through, Gallifrey is waiting…”

Seriously, it’s like the BBC aren’t even trying to keep things under wraps anymore. Gallifrey is coming back! And the Doctor is pissed off at the Time Lords!
