If you’re into Japanese tokusatsu but can’t stand how made for kids some of those shows are, you’re in luck. There’s a new Kamen Rider series on Amazon Japan, loosely based on the 1974 series Kamen Rider Amazon, which was notoriously short-lived due to its violent content.
And – I mince no words – this new incarnation of Kamen Rider Amazons is violent as fuck. If you don’t believe me, here’s the trailer so you can marvel at all the gore Kamen Rider Amazons can bring.
Right now, Kamen Rider Amazons is streaming in Japan only, and you need an Amazon Japan subscription to be able to watch this gloriously violent show. Unless you go for, uh, less-than-mainstream means of watching it. Which we totally don’t approve of.
Don’t worry though, as Kamen Rider Amazons will be hitting non-Japanese Amazon streaming services later this year. We’ll be waiting.
