Amazon Studios has released the first trailer for their TV adaptation of “The Man in the High Castle,” based on the book of the same name by Philip Dick.
The story is an alternate history of the world in which the Axis powers won in World War II, resulting in the United States being divided into three parts: a Japanese puppet state, a German puppet state, and a neutral zone.
The highly-acclaimed pilot, which debuted in January 15, 2015, was the most watched pilot from Amazon since they began producing original content.
The series stars Alexa Davalos (Angel, The Chronicles of Riddick) as Juliana Crain, Luke Kleintank (Pretty Little Liars, The Young and the Restless) as Joe Blake, and Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa (Mortal Kombat, Tekken), as Nobusuke Tagomi.
The series will debut in Fall 2015.
