As posted by The Hollywood Reporter, the first actor for the upcoming “Guardians of the Galaxy” animated series has been cast and it is none other than the veteran voice actor himself, Kevin Michael Richardson.
Richardson, 50, will play the increasingly popular Groot in the upcoming animated series for Disney XD.
The show will be produced by Marvel with Dan Buckley, Alan Fine. Jeph Loeb, and Joe Quesada acting as executive producers.
