It’s official: the critically-acclaimed Marvel Television and Netflix series has been renewed for a second season! Entertainment Weekly reports that the show’s second season will be released on Netflix in 2016.
The trade also mentions that Steven S. DeKnight will depart as showrunner. He will be succeeded by fellow series writers and collaborators Doug Petrie (Buffy) and Marco Ramirez (Sons of Anarchy) to helm the show.
How will the new showrunners approach the upcoming season? Will they introduce Daredevil mythos standards such as Bullseye, Elektra, The Hand, or The Chaste? I guess we will have to wait and see.
