PlayStation gamers now have another reason to rejoice as Square Enix announced (via the PlayStation Blog) that Dragon Quest Heroes will be heading to the West sometime in 2015 exclusively for the PlayStation 4.
Dragon Quest Heroes is an action-adventure game developed by Omega Force (primarily known for the Dynasty Warriors series) and published by Square Enix, featuring characters picked from the many games under the Dragon Quest franchise. First announced during the September 2014 pre-Tokyo Game Show Sony Press Conference, Dragon Quest Heroes marks the return of the franchise to the Sony brand since the PlayStation 2 days. The game is currently out in Japan and the other Asian regions in both PS4 and PS3 retail and digital download formats, but for the localized version the game will only be released exclusively via PS4 (retail and digital download).
As always regarding Square Enix annoucements… PLEASE BE EXCITED. For now, have some screens taken from the Japanese PS4 version.
