Updated graphics, remastered backgrounds, and more!
So Square Enix has released new screenshots and info for it’s remastered version of Legend of Mana, coming out on June 24 for the Switch, Playstation 4, and Steam on PC for $29.99!
From Square Enix:
“All the magic of the original Legend of Mana, now Remastered in HD.
Set off on a journey to find the mystical Mana Tree seen in a dream, before discovering… the world map is empty!
During your travels, you’ll acquire special artifacts; place these wherever you’d like on the map to bring towns and dungeons to life and advance the story.
Meet a colorful cast of characters, square off against fearsome monsters, and complete quests in the vast world of Fa’Diel. Not only has the music been rearranged for this remaster, you can also alternate between the new and original soundtrack.
Other features have also been added, including the ability to turn off enemy encounters. The game includes “Ring Ring Land”, a mini game never before released in the West.”

“In Legend of Mana, new and returning players will step into the shoes of the protagonist, embarking on a journey to find the mystical Mana Tree seen in a dream, only to discover that the world map is empty. Throughout their adventure, players will encounter multiple stories, a colorful cast of characters, square off against fearsome monsters in real-time combat and explore the vast world of Fa’Diel, all while experiencing the beloved RPG’s timeless story.”
The original Legend of Mana is the fourth game in the Mana series, released in 1999 for the original PlayStation! And from the looks of it, the remaster definitely has something for both newcomers and returning visitors to the world of Fa’Diel and the Mana Tree.
