Lenovo Legion Reveals 4 New Devices, New Promo

Lenovo ups the ante on its Legion offerings with a slate of new laptops, and amazing back-to-school offerings for Lenovo Legion fans. The gaming brand will stun gamers and professionals alike with Intel- and NVIDIA-equipped gaming laptops. Meanwhile, Lenovo customers can take advantage of the company’s back-to-school promo and get free Legion accessories for their purchases.

Lenovo executives teased these offerings in a roundtable meeting with media last April 25. According to them, four (4!) new Legion devices will be hitting Lenovo’s shelves beginning this June: the Legion Y740, the Legion Y540, the IdeaPad L340 Gaming, and the Legion T530.

Lenovo Legion: It’s Another Slate Of New Offerings

Tristan Ver Gonzales, Lenovo Philippines’ Legion Gaming & Desktop Product Manager, led the charge in introducing the company’s newest offerings. Other Lenovo officials also accompanied him.

“Enhanced and realistic graphics are now the norm in PC gaming,” Michael Ngan, Lenovo Philippines’ Country General Manager, said. “And those without the latest technology are simply unable to play. By providing the right tools, we at Lenovo are not only giving gamers the chance to play games, but we’re also giving non-gamers an opportunity to fully immerse themselves in a new environment.”

Ngan adds the new devices from Legion will cater to gamers who want to venture into online streaming. This will be courtesy of NVIDIA and Intel that will be supporting the devices.

As we can recall, the new NVIDIA GTX 16-series graphics card can amp up power efficiency by as much as 1.4-times better than previous generations. Meanwhile, the NVIDIA RTX 2060 can offer up to six times the performance of previous-generation cards. It also comes with artificial intelligence for enhanced graphics, and real-time ray tracing.

We Are Legion: Gaming For The Next Generation

If there’s anything Lenovo keeps on proving, it’s that there’s no other way than up. And the new line of Legion laptops prove such is the case. As mentioned, four (4) new Legion devices will be hitting Lenovo stores nationwide this June. These will be the Legion Y740, the Legion Y540, the IdeaPad L340 Gaming, and the Legion T530.

All of these devices run Windows 10, and they have a standard minimum of 8GB RAM. The notebooks will have a backlit keyboard, and a kickass 15.6” FHD IPS slim bezel display. Meanwhile, the Legion Y740 and the Legion Y540 – NVIDIA RTX 2060 variant will have 144 Hz support.

Lenovo Legion: It’s Another Slate Of New Offerings

Legion Y740

Folks will likely be familiar with the Y740, especially since we’ve also featured the laptop a few months ago. Legion teased the laptop during the opening of the first Legion Concept Store at SM City North EDSA, and the laptop packs quite a punch.

You can get more information about the laptop here. However, for a quick rundown, the Y740 offers more than enough power for users to play their games on maximum settings. Legion T530

Lenovo returns to its desktop gaming market with the T530. It’s not a Terminator, but it’s a device packing a punch. It’s equipped with NVIDIA RTX 2060 graphics card with 6GB VRAM, 1TB SSD storage, 16GB RAM, and Intel Core i7-9700 processor. This device will hit retail shelves for a price of PHP 89,995.

Continued Thrust To Support Gamers

Lenovo Legion continues to push its thrust to help gamers in the market. The company offers various services such as 24/7 technological assistance, on-site warranty, 2-Year Premium Care plans, an more. In fact, the company offers warranty where Lenovo staff themselves will go to your location to troubleshoot, and displays will be repaired for having even a single dead pixel, thanks to Lenovo’s Zero Tolerance to Dead Pixel service.

Take Advantage Of Back-to-School Offerings!

Aside from new laptops, Lenovo Legion fans can take advantage of a back-to-school promo that gets them free Legion accessories for special purchases.

The gaming brand offers a Legion K200 Gaming Keyboard, a Legion M200 Gaming Mouse, and a Legion Y Gaming Headset worth PHP 10,000 for those availing the Legion Y740.
