Mortal Kombat X Mobile Trailer Revealed!

I don’t know about you, but I love me some violent video games, as evidenced by my enjoyment of Doom during my formative years.

Another game I played way too much when I was a kid was Mortal Kombat. I loved the blood and violence, and even though Street Fighter II was clearly the superior fighting game, I spent more time playing MK. So years pass, gaming consoles come and go, franchises get rebooted, and Mortal Kombat X is coming soon. It looks fantastic and just as bloody as the Mortal Kombat reboot.

Unfortunately, I am one of those plebes who do not own either a console or a gaming PC. What’s a guy left with to do? Play mobile, of course. Thankfully, NetherRealm Studios has helpfully developed a mobile version of their highly-anticipated Mortal Kombat X. And you can get a glimpse of the trailer below.

With NetherRealms’ previous mobile game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, as a reference, I can say that this is going to be a well-balanced free to play game, with similar gameplay – tapping non-stop being the main mechanic. It’s not going to be fantastic, but until I get my hands on a PlayStation 4, this will have to do. There’s going to be some cross-play between the mobile and console versions of MKX, so we can unlock rewards for playing both games.

Are you excited for Mortal Kombat X Mobile? Sound off your thoughts in the comments!
