Rev Major Philippines is Coming

In less than two weeks, Rev Major Philippines will be happening in Manila! Some of you must be wondering what the fuss is all about, so Rev Major is a two-day fighting game event where the best players in the region come to Manila. They’ll get to to test their mettle against the best that the Philippines has to offer.

It’s ALSO home to the Tekken 7 Asia-Pacific Masters, which is part of the Tekken World Tour (TWT). That’s a pretty big deal, if we do say so ourselves.

Get Hype!

The tournament is hosted by PlayBook Video Game Lounge+Bookshop, and will be happening on July 8-9 at Power Mac Center Spotlight, Circuit Lane, Circuit Makati, Makati City, Philippines.

Seeing as the tourney is part of the Tekken World Tour, and is sponsored by Bandai Namco themselves, the prize pool for Tekken 7 is a whopping 500,00 PHP!

However, despite Tekken 7 being the main attraction, Rev Major will feature 6 other games. Namely being, Street Fighter V, Super Smash Bros. 4, Guilty Gear Xrd Rev2, The King of Fighters XIV, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, and Injustice 2.

Considering the excitement behind the tournament, you’ve got to expect some international names to make a showing. Tekken pros from around the world have signed up to join the tournament; EchoFox’s JDCR and Saint, and Tanukana from Team Cyclops to name a few.

After the RageArt tournament, they’re back for more!

Furthermore, famous commentators from the international fighting game community have also confirmed their attendance! Expect to see Jiyuna, Tasty Steve, Markman, and Spooky lending their voices for the commentary table.

So, is there something you’re waiting for? Sign up to join or spectate! See you at Rev Major in 2 weeks!
