‘Witcher 3’ Official Grass Patch Released!

Sure, The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt is one of the greatest games to have come out last year, but if you’re a PC player you’d know that certain graphical features have come under fire from fans who were expecting a bit more. One of these settings is the quality of the grass, and while I personally think that criticizing a game for the quality of grass is a bit nitpicky, that’s a huge point of contention among gamers.

We have good news: you don’t have to go through workarounds to fix the quality of the grass. CD Projekt RED has finally released a patch that fixes all those terrible textures.

Now before you all think that this is just about the grass, let’s consider the OTHER upgrade that this patch includes, one that deserves a hell lot more attention: body hair and simulated body hair growth for the lovely ladies of Witcher 3. Because the technical expertise that comes with making Geralt of Rivia’s beard grow in real time just had to be applied to more practical purposes, amirite?

While, we suspect that this release was timed for Blood and Wine, the second up-and-coming expansion pack for the game, it definitely has other uses.

Soon, the mystery will be solved: does the rug match the curtains???

If you want that lush, beautiful, ahem, grass on your computer, all you have to do is to click on this link and download the Grass Patch. It’s free too, because that’s just how CD Projekt rolls.

Awesome, isn’t it? Enjoy your grass.
