Jason Momoa fired shots at Marvel during a recent fan signing session in Indiana Comic Con. And when we say “shots fired” we really mean “shots fired”.
Now the context behind the whole “F*ck Marvel” comment was that once upon a time, Momoa was in the running to play Drax the Destroyer for Guardians of the Galaxy. News later spread that he passed on the role and it ultimately landed on Dave Bautista’s lap.
Of course, the rest is history and GOTG made a boatload of money and earned a million new fans in the process.
Now Momoa has been cast as Aquaman and he sure looks like he wants a “fight” with Marvel Studios.
Neither studios have commented nor does it look like they care. Still the fans seem pretty polarized with the snarky comment by the once Khal Drogo.
