Watch the Leaked ‘Darna’ Trailer Here

We knew a new Darna movie would be coming this 2016, but details are pretty scant. We don’t know any of the basic plot details. Heck, we don’t even know who’s playing Darna. Thankfully, a leaked trailer gives us a glimpse of what to expect from the upcoming film.

And it’s actually pretty good.

I’ll be honest – when I saw the World War II sections, I really thought that the movie was going to be set in that era. And it clicked – it was a great out of the box interpretation and it would be interesting. So I was kind of disappointed that the movie will actually be set, again, in contemporary times. But at least the special effects look good, and from the little blurry glimpses I saw out of this trailer, I’m interested.

This trailer, however, raises a couple of questions: who’s playing Darna? And will this movie give justice to Mars Ravelo’s comics? What do you think? Let’s talk about the new Darna trailer by Star Cinema in the comments!
