On his Instagram account, Director Bryan Singer introduced newcomer actress Lana Condor as Jubilee in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse.
In the previous X-Men movies, Jubilee was seen as a cameo character. In the first X-Men film, she was played by Katrina Florece. While the sequel, X2: X-Men United, she was played by Kea Wong (who had a deleted scene where her powers were, somehow, showing up from her hands).
Condor will be joining Alexandra Shipp and Sophie Turner
X-Men: Apocalypse starts principal production late April 2015 and the film will be out May 2016.
FUN FACT: Aside from being introduce in the X-Men animated series back in the 90’s, Jubilee had her first live-action appearance in the Generation X TV Movie back in 1996. She was played by Heather McComb (as seen on the poster below.)
