Since its announcement last year, there’s been plenty of speculation surrounding Jeff Jarrett’s rival wrestling promotion Global Force Wrestling. Some of those speculation went away today as Jarrett announced some of the major players that would consist the Global Force Wrestling roster.
Among the wrestlers announced to appear for GFW are the Bullet Club’s Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows from New Japan Pro Wrestling, the Killer Elite Squad’s Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith, Jr (of NJPW and Pro Wrestling NOAH), Chris Mordetsky (aka WWE’s Chris Masters), the Darewolf PJ Black (aka WWE’s Justin Gabriel), Ring of Honor’s MOOSE, TNA Knockouts Lei’d Tapa and Thea Trinidad, Wrestle-1’s Sanada and former UFC Champ Chael Sonnen as analyst.
The first taping is scheduled for July 24 in Las Vegas and it’s expected that more names will be announced as the days go by.
