[SPOILER WARNING]
Deadline is reporting that the CW Network is developing another DC Heroes spin-off in light of the success and ever-expanding universe of The Flash and Arrow.
The currently untitled project will be helmed by Arrow creators Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, and Andrew Kreisberg. It will feature several recurring characters from both Arrow and The Flash and will be headlined by Brandon Routh (Atom/Ray Palmer), Victor Garber (Firestorm/Dr. Martin Stein), Wentworth Miller (Captain Cold/Leonard Snart), and Caity Lotz. Due to Sara Lance’s death in Season 3 of Arrow, it is unclear whether she will reprise the character or play an entirely new one. The outlet also mentions that the show will feature three major DC Comics characters who have never appeared in a TV series.
The team-up series formula of the show seems to be in the vein of The Brave and the Bold, DC’s popular team-up comic book series.
While still unconfirmed, the show seems likely to happen and is par for the course considering DC’s plan of creating more TV shows based on its characters and properties in the next few years
