Supergirl series casts Cyborg Superman and Alex Danvers

CBS and DC Entertainment have announced that two more characters have been cast in regular roles for its upcoming “Supergirl” TV series.

David Harewood and Chyler Leigh

Homeland veteran David Harewood will play Hank Henshaw, “a onetime CIA agent who now runs the Department of Extra-Normal Operations (DEO), which tracks extraterrestrial threats on Earth”. As longtime comic book fans know, Hank Henshaw becomes the villain Cyborg Superman. Will we see him in that form this fall?

Chyler Leigh will play Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, “the confident foster sister of Kara. Fascinated by Kara’s powers from a young age, Alex developed a lifelong obsession with science that inspired her to become a doctor.”
