The Syfy network has announced a new TV series which will air really soon called Krypton.
The new TV show will not follow Superman nor will it be another story featuring Supergirl but rather travel further back to the time of Superman’s grandfather Seyg-El.
Here’s the official description from DC Entertainment:
“Years before the Superman legend we know, the House of El was shamed and ostracized. This series follows The Man of Steel’s grandfather as he brings hope and equality to Krypton, turning a planet in disarray into one worthy of giving birth to the greatest Super Hero ever known.”
David S. Goyer will be executive producer while Ian Goldberg of Once Upon a Time will be writing the series pilot.
