New details on ‘Final Fantasy XV’ demo

Final Fantasy fans, listen up! Square Enix Europe has new details on the Final Fantasy XV demo, titled Episode Duscae. In a press release, the company revealed:

  • The demo will come with first print physical copies of Final Fantasy Type-0 HD, for the Playstation 4 and Xbox One, and digital copies of the game will have the demo available for a limited time;
  • Codes, to redeem the demo, will be valid for 1 year after the game’s release: March 17, 2015 and March 20, 2015 for Europe and North America, respectively;
  • Purchasing Type-0 HD will be the only way to get a hold of Episode Duscae;
  • Square Enix will not have you delete the demo after playing it;
  • The demo will contain several hours of gameplay and will have multiple secrets to discover; and
  • English and Japanese language options will be available to choose from for both Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and Final Fantasy XV: Episode Duscae.

Remember when people bought Zone of Enders for the Metal Gear Solid 2 demo? This harks back to that. Besides getting to play a high definition version of arguably the best PSP game ever made, you’ll also get to play a small taste of what Final Fantasy fans have been waiting for since the PS3 got announced.
