Spoiler Alert! If you haven’t seen Ant-Man yet, we suggest you skip the post because we’ll talk about the mid-credit scene now.
Still there?
Suit yourself. Here’s a look at the future costume for Evangeline Lilly’s Hope Van Dyne who by the end of the film has taken over the mantle of the hero The Wasp.
In the movie Hope is presented with the suit by her father Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) after the success of their heist and sabotaging of Cross Industries. It was revealed in those few seconds that Pym had been working on a new suit just for Hope which also kinda explains why he didn’t want her to take over the Ant-Man mantle.
While we never see Lilly’s Hope wear the costume we’re definitely sure that she’ll look pretty bad ass in it. Oh and it also borrows elements from the other concept artworks for The Wasp costume as seen in the Ant-Man artbook.
And we wouldn’t be surprised if, by the time the Ant-Man sequel rolls out and we finally get back Janet, we’ll see all these concept artworks in the silverscreen because Janet’s a HUGE fashionista.
