Casting Descriptions for Arrow/Flash Spin-off Series Reveals Three New Heroes

With the massive success of both Arrow and The Flash on TV, it’s a no-brainer that a third series, a spin-off most likely, gets fast-tracked. Today we share the character descriptions for three new heroes who will be headed that direction including what could be Booster Gold.

The first new character is called “The Traveler.” Described as a “Han Solo-esque rogue who gets by with his charm, this hero hails from the future, and has journeyed back in time on a secret mission. His razor-sharp wit hides the pain of a man who has lived through serious conflict. He also harbors many secrets, always leaving both his teammates and the audience unsure of his true allegiances.”

Speculations are spreading that this could be the TV version of time-based hero Rip Hunter who fought off big guns in the DCU like the Anti-Monitor. Another plausible character that could fit the bill is Booster Gold who has already appeared previously in “Smallville”. Our money’s on Booster Gold though as he’s got more rep than Hunter.

The second character is called “Female Warrior,” and is described as follows: “This twentysomething Latina is pretty but unassuming, book smart and socially awkward by day. But by night, when she hears the cry of battle, her fury is ignited and she becomes a fierce warrior — so much so, that sometimes she can become a threat to others.”

The outlet speculates this character could be Helena Kosmatos, AKA Fury, a hero granted powers by three Amazonian deities, or perhaps even Yolanda Montez, the female Wildcat who inherited the title from her Godfather, Ted Grant. A plausible prediction given Grant has appeared in a few episodes of the third season of “Arrow.”

The third character is called “Mystery Hero” and is described as follows: “An African-American male in his twenties will fill the role of a regular, street smart guy who unexpectedly gains powers, and then, as part of the team, regularly quips about the insanity of the situations.”

From the description alone, that’s definitely Static/ Static Shock, whose book ended prematurely back when DC Comics rebooted.
