Ahsoka Tano Returns in Star Wars Rebels Season 2
It looks like Kanan isn’t the only Jedi who survived the Empire’s purge of the Jedi Order as
A new video reveals that Ahsoka Tano will return to the fray in Star Wars Rebels’ second season premiere. The episode will be called “Siege of Lothal,” and will continue the story from where we left off, after it was revealed that she was the leader of the rebel group called “Fulcrum” back in season 1.
This new featurette gives us a history lesson on the character starting with her debut back in The Clone Wars all the way to her appearance in “Rebels”.
“Ahsoka in Clone Wars was more like Ezra,” Ashley Eckstein explained of her character’s journey. “She was the student, she was the Padawan. Now she’s more of like the mentor, or the teacher — she’s more like Obi-Wan, or Yoda.”
According to executive producer Dave Filoni, Ahsoka is “very much trying to find out what Ezra and Kanan are about” in season 2. “But,” he adds, “She’s also trying to figure out what the Dark Side of the Force is up to… because there’s a nagging feeling in the back of her mind that has some connection to her.”
More importantly this strengthens the belief that there will be a big fight in this season between Ahsoka and her former master, Anakin Skywalker now Darth Vader.
