- Apparently WWE already spoiled the potential results of WWE NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn during the most recent NXT tapings.
- Former Pro Wrestling Guerilla champion Johnny Gargano and former Ring of Honor stalwart Tomasso Ciampa has also been seen in the sam NXT tapings, getting a win over Tyler Breeze and Bull Dempsey
- This past Monday Night Raw made official the long-planned match between Stardust and the Green Arrow, though with a few extras.
- Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson will be a part of the animated movie Moana as announced in the D23 Expo.
- There are reports saying that Joanie Laurer, aka former WWE diva Chyna, made a commotion during Roddy Piper’s private funeral. Reports mention Laurer making a beeline towards Triple H.
- Other matches that got confirmed this week are the Intercontinental title triple threat between Ryback, Big Show and The Miz, the Divas trios triple threat, and another tag team Fatal 4-way for the Tag straps.
- Samoa Joe vs Baron Corbin has been added to he NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn card.
- Hiroshi Tanahashi wins the A Block of the G1 Climax. Meantime, despite having the same number of points, Shinsuke Nakamura gets to go to the final thanks to that win against Kazuchika Okada. They both ended up with 14 points each. Full G1 standings can be seen below

We got really solid performances from the New Japan side, but major props goes out to #BigMike Michael Elgin. He has truly gained the adoration of the Japanese audience, and managed to get solid performances even against the Young Lions.
