Cosplay Mania built its reputation on Cosplay and it seeks to continue this tradition with several Cosplay Contests this year. For the Cosplay Masquerade, secret judges will give special awards to the best cosplayers in wandering Hall EX. It’s the perfect way to recognize talented cosplayers who may be too shy to compete on a big stage. The inaugural Cosplay Idol Group contest is the new venue where aspiring Idol Groups can present their best costumes and performances. Winners will get a cash prize of 50,000 Yen and a chance to be recognized by the Little Akiba Project of Japan, who are always on the lookout for new talent around Asia.
On the Main Stage of Hall SP, Cosplay Mania 2016 will present the cream of the cosplay crop at the Cosplay Solo Showdown and Cosplay Team Battle on Day 1 and the Cosplay: Tournament of Champions and Cosplay Mania Cup on Day 2.
